Spent two days seriously eating our way round West Cork last week.
While official restaurant reviews are not my brief here, I'll make
this short and sweet.
West Cork is Heaven for anybody who likes fresh fish.
There are many mid-week special deals in chi-chi hotels
that make a trip away from city smoke very appealing indeed.
I think I've gained weight...

Thanks for your invitation, Bel.
I'm a little sensitive about restaurant reviews, in general, as they can take on a life of their own and affect business for those reviewed.
I don't think I will develop my career in that direction.
However, if you look back over the recipes and cooking tips, there may be something there that catches your eye. I would feel more confident writing about dishes tried and tested in my own kitchen.
